My career in photography now spans some 36 years – in that time I spent 15 years as a military photographer and experienced every situation that a photographer could come across. Throughout this time I never once thought that I would be enjoying wedding photography as much as I do now. My earlier experiences have given me an insight and perspective on how to photograph the most important day in the life of a couple in love.
My passion for wedding photography is based on what I see and feel during what is one of the greatest days in a couples life. The love, beauty, details, moments and fun are all captured in a friendly and quiet manner.
You want to enjoy your wedding day and the way I go about the photography is designed to allow you to do just that! My work is not about marketing hype or photoshop manipulation. I don’t attempt to pose you into someone who I think you should be. My goal is to capture the essence of who you are by capturing your day naturally – through an artistic interpretation of your day along with some of the best of the traditional aspects of wedding photography.
Photographing weddings in London, Newcastle, Manchester, York and Edinburgh and Middlesbrough, including weddings in some of the most prestigious country houses in Britain, marquees in back gardens and at the Tower of London has given me valuable experience that you will see in your photographs. Whatever the circumstances you can be sure that our experience will go a long way to producing memorable photographs for you.
I am a qualified member of the prestigious Master Photographers Association of the United Kingdom and have over 20 years of photographic experience that I will bring to your photographs.
